ABOUT Dan Clancy

Dan Clancy is lead singer of 4-time Juno award winning Canadian super-group Lighthouse. Included in his many musical accomplishments over the years, Dan has written, performed and produced commercials and theme songs and has sung on numerous national and international radio and television commercial campaigns.

He is the founder and director of the Collective Music Group (Collective Records 2000, Collective Media 2004, Collective Recording Studios 2005, Collective Music Academy 2006, offering private vocal lessons, introductory guitar lessons and music business instruction/career advice for bands, solo performers and singer/songwriters.

Additionally, Dan was co-founder and music director of a successful summer music camp at Durham College (Oshawa, ON) 2003 – 2005 and coach/mentor of an adult music league (League of Rock) 2010 – 2015 based in Toronto/Chicago/New York/Vancouver (www.leagueofrock.com)

Internationally renowned and recognized record producers Roy Cicala, Bob Ezrin, Ken Tobias and others have worked with Dan on a number of recording projects over the years and he continues to write and record original compositions and cover versions of songs from all genres including Folk, Rock, Blues, Soul, R&B, Country, Celtic, Jazz, and more…

He remains an active member of Canadian music industry associations SOCAN, ACTRA, SAC, CMRRA, RE*SOUND, CMPA and has adjudicated for the Canadian Juno Awards.
