With over 20 years of musical experience between them, HateTheDrake bring passion, creativity, craft as well as modern spin to performance.
Guitarist/vocalist Vito Alvaro has played all over North America with many successful bands, excelling in genres of pop, rock, jazz, and country. He’s had the pleasure of sharing the stage with acts like Honeymoon Suite, Kim Mitchell, Teenage Head and the Spoons while recording with the likes of Natalie MacMaster, Colin Linden, and Doug Riley among many other greats.
Long time friend and fellow Guitarist Albert Carraro, also moonlights with various acts – both original and on the cover scenes. Highlights include performing at The Rogers Centre for the Grey Cup, tracking guitars for a full season of Canadian Idol, opening for the Temptations, along with numerous tv and radio performances and headlining many of Toronto’s top venues and abroad.
Both have come together to create a unique duo experience. Along with the music they create on their various instruments, they have included a full band experience in their show – without the need of a band; perfect for smaller venues and large enough to fill any room sonically.
Their entertaining and exciting show covers hits from every genre, leaving the casual music fan to the hardcore extremely happy. With so much to offer, it won’t take long for people to fall in love with HateTheDrake.
