ABOUT IAN JUTSUN

Ian Jutsun is one of Canadas most respected voices.  He is a singer/songwriter but he is also an actor and comedian.  He began his singing career at the age of 13 in Montreal where he fronted several bands.  In 1992 he moved to Toronto and began song writing, recording and playing with many respected and talented musicians from Canada and the U.S.  He is an accomplished and consummate artist with an extensive music career live and in studio and as an actor in theatre, film and television.

One of Ians original bands, Sahara, was featured on national broadcast TV show Made In Canada and one of his original songs was included on a Canadian music compilation CD and sent with astronaut Marc Garneau into outer space!

Ian was a featured singer and principal actor in the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webbers Bombay Dreams working directly with Grammy and Oscar winner A.R. Rahman who composed a feature song for Ian called The Lament”.

Currently Ian continues to add performances to his 28 year professional career, touring across North America as the lead singer in acclaimed group Brass Transit, performing the musical legacy of the band Chicago. As well he is a singer with the touring show Jeans N Classics performing pop/rock songs with symphonies. He is a member of The Platters starring Norris Vines and was the Lead singer with the Galaxy All star Orchestra for 10 years, performing big band hits from Sinatra, Tom Jones and more.  Finally Ian has been a private vocal instructor and coach for 15 years.
