ABOUT MARC DEVIGNE

A prairie boy originally from Winnipeg Manitoba, Marc Devigne is a bilingual French-Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor currently residing in Toronto. Hitting the ground running as a teen contestant and finalist on “Canadian Idol” in 2003 and most recently as a quarter finalist on “The Voice Canada” in 2020, Marc has continually evolved his craft and passion for music and performance, becoming a sought-after performer across the globe, from Mexico City to Paris to Tel Aviv.

As a songwriter, Devigne has co-penned music with an impressive array of Canada’s leading songwriters such as Stephan Moccio, Amy Sky, Mark Masri, Greg Johnson, David Martin, and Simon Wilcox. On stage, Marc’s infectious presence and performance experience has afforded him the opportunity to appear on two International PBS specials: “A Mark Masri PBS Special,” as well as “Bailamos! Live at the Empire,” plus an array of Musical Theatre shows, touring with Canadian & International Companies around the world. Marc has also been a featured soloist for the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Mexico City’s Orchestra “Sinfonica de Mineria” from 2017 to 2019 for their annual grand Christmas concert before an audience of ten thousand people. He continues to tour extensively internationally as a vocalist for various music groups, such as “Latin Fury,” “Synco Romantico,” “Citizen West,” and has also opened for music groups such as “The Tenors”.

Marc is now focused on writing and developing his own solo music, under the Select Musiek/Sony Music Africa label. Marc’s new French song, Je serai pour toi, is currently the theme song spearheading the Tribuo Fund campaign in South Africa, a fundraiser raising money for artists and technicians who’ve lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
