ABOUT STEPHANIE MARTIN

Stephanie Martin is a bilingual Canadian songwriter, singer and actor.  In the theatre, she has played leading roles in award winning productions of Les Misérables, Napoleon and Schwartz’s, the musical among others. In studio, she sang the voice of Pocahontas in the French version of the Disney movie and has performed on many other cast albums. On the concert stage, Stephanie performs with symphony orchestras across North America, Europe and Asia, notably with symphony pops group Jeans ’N Classics.

Her first recording of original songs shape, line and harmony (“Among the year’s best new releases” – CBC Radio One) received widespread airplay. Her second album April Snow (“Luminous vocalist Stephanie Martin demonstrates her considerable chops as a composer of accessible, highly musical material” – The Whole Note) reached #2 in the Top 100 iTunes Adult Contemporary Chart in Canada. 

At the height of the pandemic in 2020 Stephanie and her band offered a series of porch concerts in her downtown Toronto neighbourhood and the experience was uplifting for audiences and performers alike. Stephanie adds: “Truly the most intimate and rewarding concerts I’ve ever given, a silver lining to the pandemic!”
